Nortegas and its partner companies analyse its commitment to growth

The company awards the work of Instaman Berotek Gas Sella Zubinor AIG and Pronor

Bilbao, 13 June 2018.-nortegas held its annual meeting with its partner installers to analyse the 2017 results and the strategy to be followed for the future, in this new stage that the gas distributor has embarked on as an independent company.

nortegas is aware of the importance of those companies with which it works in the three autonomous regions where Nortegas is present: the Basque Country, Asturias and Cantabria. Therefore, it meets with them each year to analyse the current situation and development strategies, and also recognises their work with different awards. Instaman Berotek Gas Sella Zubinor, AIG and Pronor were the prize-winners this year.

The meeting was held in Santander this year and the city’s Mayor, Gema Igual, was there and congratulated Nortegas for its regeneration and transformation and this new push for the future. She also stressed the company’s commitment to society and its corporate policy “to reach out to the general public”. She added that responsible companies were needed that provide a service aimed at the satisfaction of users, customers or the general public. “Nortegas embodies those qualities and that is why I have come here as the Mayor to welcome all the delegates at this event,” she ended.

In turn, Juan Ramón Arraibi, the nortegas Director of Operations, explained that, at that time of change for the company, “holding this meeting with our partner companies is particularly important as our cornerstone is growth and their work, in that regard, is fundamental for us”.

“We want to grow in all those places where we have infrastructures and create expansion opportunities on new markets,” he stressed. Specifically, Arraibi referred to those services where natural gas can be used as the energy source. “We are talking about transport, where the most polluting oil-based fuels have to be replaced, and we also need to harness the contribution that gas can make to renewables from biomethane,” he ended.
